Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event: Rules & Regulations

By attending the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event, participants acknowledge and agree to follow all rules and guidelines outlined within this page. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as a viable excuse for violations. These rules and guidelines may apply to other sims involved with the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event. To know for sure they will have on display a poster stating at the entrance of their sim “Sivlerwing Asylum Halloween Event Rules & Guidelines apply to this sim”. Please make sure you pay attention to any such notices.

Respectful Behavior

  1. Show respect and kindness to all participants, staff, and visitors within the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event. We aim to foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
  2. Treat the event area as if it were your own, displaying respect for the event’s infrastructure, builds, and decorations. Avoid any intentional damage or disruptions to the sim or sims involved with the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event.
  3. The Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event is a family-friendly “PG” event that embraces diversity and welcomes participants of all types, including child and furry avatars. Our aim is to create an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone. We encourage a respectful and accepting atmosphere where individuals can freely express themselves with their avatars while being considerate of others. Together, we can celebrate the spirit of Halloween and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment for all attendees.
  4. Respect the security and privacy of others during the duration of the event. Avoid sharing personal information or engaging in activities that may compromise the security or other visitors or the integrity of the event.

Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event Dress Code

  1. Participants are required to adhere to a strict dress code to maintain an appropriate and family-friendly atmosphere at the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event. The following guidelines must be observed.
  2. Attire must cover all private areas, and no nudity is allowed. This includes avoiding see-through clothing and the use of pasties as a substitute for proper coverage.
  3. Explicit gestures, nudity, or any form of inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited within the event.
  4. If leashes are used, they must be set to invisible to avoid causing any discomfort to other participants.
  5. Failure to comply with the dress code will result in a warning from event staff, and the participant will be asked to leave and change their attire. A second warning will lead to immediate removal from the event.
  6. In the event of a third instance of non-compliance, the participant will be permanently banned from the event sim and unable to participate further.
  7. The Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event is a “PG-rated” event, and no adult content or activities are permitted or tolerated within the event.

Photography & Video Guidelines

  1. Photography & video recording are permitted only in designated areas of the event. However, certain areas that contain personal information are strictly off-limits for any type of visual capture.
  2. A dedicated area is provided for visitors to share memories of their loved ones and honor breast cancer survivors. These areas are marked as “NO PHOTOGRAPHY and/or VIDEO” unless explicit permission is granted by the Silverwing Asylum Development Team or Silverwing Asylum Owner.
  3. Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in immediate and permanent removal from the current year’s event and exclusion from any future events for a duration of up to three years.

Compliance with the Second LifeĀ® Terms of Service (TOS)

  1. Participants must fully comply with the Second LifeĀ® Terms of Survice (TOS) while attending the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event.
  2. Any violations of the TOS will not be tolerated and will result in immediate and permanent removal from the event.
  3. In addition, individuals found in violation of the TOS may face exclusion from participating in any future Silverwing Asylum Halloween Events for a period of up to three years. This will depend on the extent of their offense.

Reporting Issues & Concerns:

  1. If you witness behavior that violates the rules or makes you uncomfortable during the Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event, please promptly notify a staff member or a regulator. Your concerns will be addressed promptly and appropriately.
  2. The Silverwing Asylum Halloween Event Staff and Appointed Regulators, reserve the right to remove anyone from our event who breaches or disobeys any rules or guidelines defined within this page. The decision of the appointed regulatory team is final and not subject to an appeal.
